# WAX Pool and WAX Exchange Event

Zombie Miners pay a WAX fee to mine. A portion of this fee goes to the Mine Owner and to a **WAX Pool**. Currently, the WAX Pool is 30% of the mining task fee.

Once a month, players can exchange their ZBC to WAX during the **WAX Exchange Event**. The exchange ratio is calculated by dividing the WAX Pool balance by the total ZBC in Circulation. This ratio is displayed on the in-game Dashboard.
